This letter is.written to provide certification ;that I; as a. Professional Engineer, have been retained to. establish
compliance with the St: Lucie County codes and regulations pertaining to the 5/16" x 7-1/4" "Hardiplank"
siding installation at the address listed above. The following is the manufactures tested fastening method:
• Use galvanized 11 GA. x 1-3/4" long roofing nail blind nailed.through the top with_ a 1" lap &- a'6"
reveal with 2" x 4" studs (min) spaced at 16"'O.C. (max).
My analysis was based on the following design parameters:
