Background:
On March 09, 2015, B & B Engineering, Inc. was requested by Onshore Roofing Specialist Inc., a Florida
License Roofing Contractor, to visit the above site to visually inspect the structure as to its ability to support the
proposed new Polyglass SBS-SA Fl. Product Approval No. 1654-R-12, Modified Bitumen roof system.
Certification:
B & B Engineering, Inc. certifies that existing roof support is in good shape and capable of support the new roof
cover, Also to meet the required wind loading as per ASCE 7-10, Exposure C, 165 mph the existing plywood
deck will be re -nailed to the existing roof structure support using galvanized steel 8d ring shank nails at 4" on
center edge and 6" center field. A 4"can strip on all roof to wall connections as needed per code, the base sheet
will be mechanically fastened with 32 ga 1 5/8"tin cap with 12ga ring shank nails, then the '/4"per foot tapered
insulation as per manufactures' specifications. And finally the SBS self-adhesive cap sheet as per manufactures
specifications and 2010 FBC.
To the best of our knowledge and professional ability, it is B & B Engineering Inc.'s opinion that the work will
be properly done and the new roof cover will be structural sound, safe and in compliance with Codes and
Manufacturer's specifications.

Our professional services have been performed, our finding obtained and our opinions prepared in accordance
with general accepted structural engineering principles and practices. This Company is not responsible for the
conclusions, opinions or recommendations made by others based on our findings. The certification submitted in
this report is based upon the field inspection on March 14, 2015 and was intended to evaluate the existing roof
structure to assure the integrity of the proposed new roof cover.
