Balcony is shored. The (3) cables in the E/W direction that is to be replaced has been locked off and distressed behind the work area. The cable running in the N/S direction along the balcony edge behind the bursting bars that are to be repaired is also locked off and distressed. The corrosion of the bursting bars along the east balcony edge continues out to the north edge beyond the area we first anticipated. Structure Con should continue the repairs towards the north edge. Contractor should first verify if there are any pt cables in the EAV direction that may affect the work at that area prior to completing the demo work. A final certification letter of completion will be issued The following miscellaneous items were observed which are to be corrected: Unit 309 Clean the caulk off the top of the fasteners on the shutter track Unit 1216 The bottom rail is missing a fastener to the guard rail post on the balcony, install fastener.
