RE: Lawnwood Park: Football 4.2 ADA Renovations @ South Restroom - Contract/ P.O.
Please allow this correspondence to serve as the mutual agreement to terminate the contract
issued by St Lucie County for the Football 4.2 ADA Renovations. As we've discussed, addressing both
the existing and unforeseen conditions beyond the original scope of work is not conducive monetarily at
this time. Other suggestions of St Lucie County Facilities "self -performing" various scope of work within
the parameters of the building permit procured by Grande Construction is not possible based on limitless
risk and exposure. It is of the opinion, the functionality of the restroom is acceptable and altering its state
to conform with current ADA requirements may be considered in the future. We hope these decisions will
not affect our working relationship with St Lucie County.
Also attached is a revised invoice and the respective receipts to procure the required permits
(#SLC 1506-0037) along with Original Quote illustrating a line item for permits in the amount of
$1,500.00. Based on our previous conversations, there is no remuneration, or consideration thereof, for
time involved to procure said permit(s), contrary to previous projects.
At this time, we request the St Lucie County Building Department cancel this permit, as
referenced herein. My Ed Roseberry has been copied on this correspondence.
