High Velocity Zone pertains to Dade and Broward counties and the rest of Florida falls outside of the HVHZ . The Florida Product approval for the shutters would be fine [ non hvhz if that is o.k. with your design professional. The waiver request is for 2 proposed temporary Modular office units for Prima Vista Power Station Site at 6375 S US 1, Port St Lucie. Pursuant to Section 7.04.01(C-3) of the St Lucie County Land -Development Code, the Planning and Development Services Director has the authority to grant the administrative relief, when topographical conditions are such that compliance with this subsection would be impracticable or cause grade level conditions detrimental to adjacent or nearby property, consistent with the intent of the Flood Protection regulations and any other applicable portion of this Code. The Planning and Development Services Director has granted your request for administrative relief of the finished floor elevation based on the following determinations: 1) The property is not in a Flood Zone. 2) The proposed buildings are at least 285' away from US-1. 3) Compliance would be impracticable. 4) The existing Power Plant is 4' below the center line of the road (9.49'AVD). 5) The finished floor elevation will be 10.75' NAVD, which is 2.71' below the centerline of the road. This approval does not in any way constitute authorization to begin construction. Prior to the commencement of any construction on this property, an application for specific building permit must be obtained from this department. Planning & Development lj�6 - 0 9 a-7, Felix Associates of Florida Inc., will be placing 2 ea. temporary office Modular on the Prima Vista Power Station Site, located @ 6375 S US Hwy I (Federal Highway), Port St Lucie FL. 34952. Felix Associate has been contracted to perform the work for the "FLP Transmission Line (Port St. Lucie #4 Turnpike Substation to St. Lucie Power Plant Switchyard) 230 KV underground Transmission Line. The crown or center line elevation for US Hwy I is 13.46 elevations. The power plant elevation is 9.49. The power plant site sits approximately 4 ft. below center line of road. The area the modular will be placed is 8.55 elevations. According to the specification, placing the temporary modular 18" about center of Roadway, the modular will be 7ft. above ground elevation. This would be a safety issue. This area the Power plant is located is not in a flood zone. Felix proposes to place the 2 ea. Temporary Modular floor elevation @ 10.75 +/-.
