Thanks for your time, and Carl's, last week to review our Vaz permit application. We have made those changes to the
plans, as discussed, with the exception of our wood decking direction at the landing in front of the door to the modular
unit. Instead of doing a 45 degree adjustment, we have created over 3.0 ft of decking perpendicular to the ramp,
creating the same result you were requesting. We have consulted with an ADA expert and it is his opinion that what we
have proposed meets the intent of the rules.
It is my desire to bring these drawings back to the County either tomorrow afternoon or Thursday morning. I would like
to go over our re -submittal with you so I can further explain the above, and make sure that we have properly addressed
your concerns.
Please let me know what works best for you.

Dear Mr. Cicio,
Enclosed please find documents, plans, and certifications as requested in your last correspondence
where you had given comments to our building permit application for the above referenced site. The
enclosed plans, though meeting typical design criteria, are also a reflection of what was built in the field,
as this is a permitting after construction exercise.
You have requested in your first comment a secondary mean of egress from this building. our position,
based on the Florida Building code of 2010, is that this is not necessary, and have provided you with a
Life Safety Plan complying with the code. The second door will not be accessed under any
circumstances.
All other requested information is provided to you in triplicate, as required, addressing those issues that
were mentioned in your letter, except as explained above. Also, in accordance to my conversation with
Mr. Peterson, we are providing a technical data sheet from the hurricane panel manufacturer for the
trailer windows in lieu of the requested wind load calculations.
I hope the above meets with your approval; and should you have any additional questions please do not
hesitate to call at your convenience.

I found a set of drawings of your project in my chair a day ago but not sure if Vouo'r someone else dropped them off. I
provided them to Joe for review and had him update me on the status of your permit. You really need to meet with the
building official on the outstanding issues as I cannot waive building code requirements.
You are correct that time is running out to get your permit and be in compliance with the Code Board order. lbelleve
that Joe has adequately provided you with your options on how to address the issues. I am sure you can agree that ADA
compliance is a very important issue and staff is ensuring the ADA code is meet.
