TAS 105-11 fastener withdraw testing was completed upon the Micro Lab located at the
Tropicana complex at 6500 Glades Cut Off Road in Fort Peirce, Florida.
PURPOSE: The purpose of the TAS 105-11 fastener withdraw testing is to determine the
mechanical field -withdraw resistance of the substrate utilizing a calibrated digital force gauge.
FASTENER UPLIFT TEST METHOD: A Comten Series 302 Uplift Cell was used. A total of
10 tests were performed.
All testing is in compliance with TAS 105-98 requirements.

Sample Standard Deviation: SF = lbf
Minimum -Characteristic Resistance Force: F = Ibf
Notes: 1. Use of the results herein to determine the required number of fasteners for
insulation attachment or an acceptable anchor or base sheet fastener spacing,
as outlined in TAS 117, shall utilize the minimum characteristic resistance force
(F'), determined in compliance with Section 9 of TAS 105. No margin of safety
shall be applied to field withdrawal resistance test results determined in
compliance with TAS 105.
2. A safety factor of 2 to 1 shall be applied to all results of laboratory testing.
3. The following pages shall be completed for each roof area and included with all
Field Withdrawal Resistance Test Recording Sheets.
