MIDWAY ROAD. THE SCOPE OF WORK BEING DONE THERE WAS FAR BEYOND ANYTHING THAT HAD BEEN AGREED TO ALLEGEDLY, BY TIM LYNCH. THE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS BECAME QUITE UPSET AND CALLED HER LAWYER. I SPOKE TO THE ATTORNEY ON THE PHONE AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM TO HIM. A MEETING WAS ARRANGED FOR MONDAY MORNING, SEPTEMBER 27, 1993, IN MY OFFICE. THE RESULTS OF THAT MEETING ARE AS FOLLOWS: MICHELE M. LEAHY IS THE OWNER OF A TELEPHONE REPAIR BUSINESS TO BE LOCATED AT THE ABOVE ADDRESS. SHE HAS BEEN GIVEN THE REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING A BUILDING PERMIT. THIS WILL INCLUDE SEALED PLANS, A GENERAL CONTRACTOR, ALL SUB PERMITS, HANDICAP ACCESSIBILITY AND REST -ROOMS. ALSO MENTIONED, WAS THE FLORIDA ENERGY EFFICIENCY CODE REQUIREMENTS. MR. MURPHY, WHO WAS ALSO IN ATTENDANCE, MENTIONED THE SIGNAGE AND LANDSCAPE REQUIREMENTS. IT WAS POINTED_ -OUT BY MR. MURPHY THAT THERE COULD BE NO CONTRACTING DONE IN THIS ZONING. MEETING CONCLUDED -WITH -THE -UNDERSTANDING -THAT -ALL -OF -THE ABOVE' -WILL- - BE COMPLIED WITH. f f SOUTHERN BUSINESS TELEPHONE SYSTEMS 10/14/93 RICK ROSSMAN CAME IN TO GO OVER COUNTY REQUIREMENTS TO BRING EXISTING SITE INTO CODE COMPLIANCE. 1) WILL LOCATE LOADING AREA AT REAR OF PROPERTY WITHIN EXISTING ELM AVE DRIVEWAY. THIS IS THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE. 2) EVEN THOUGH 20 PARKING SPACES ARE REQUIRED, THE EXISTING 18 SPACES WILL BE ADAQUATE. THERE IS NO ROOM ON PROPERTY FOR ADD'L PARKING. 3) LANDSCAPING ON THE EAST AND NORTH SIDE TO COMPLY WITH CODE. ,,jANDSCAPING ON THE NORTH (MIDWAY RD) TO HAVE CONTINUOUS HEDGE !rPLY IS NOT ENOUGH ROOM BETWEEN PROPERTY LINE AND RIGHT yOF WAY FOR PLACEMENT OF TREES. Pierce, Florida 34982 RE: Replacement of Air Conditioning Contractor Dear Mr. Taten: Please be advised that as of Thursday October 7, 1993 Grossman Air Conditioning will no longer be installing the A/C unit or any other necessary equipment at the job site located at 1001 West Midway Road in Ft. Pierce. On October 7, 1993 Grimes Air Conditioning was hired to complete or replace the existing A/C unit and all necessary equipment to meet the lawful codes. On October 8, 1993 Grimes Air Conditioning was informed that they were not permitted to do any work until the proper permits were obtained. I am requesting that the permit obtained by Grossman Air Conditioning be canceled. We will continue to co-operate with the St. Lucie County Building Department and Code Enforcment to be certain that all necessary codes are met.
