Dear St. Lucie County Permit Applicant,
Please see the attached plan review comments which have been generated for your permit. As soon as we receive the
modified plans and any additional required documentation back from the design professional, contractor or owner we
will perform the additional reviews as necessary in order to complete the plan review process. Once the plans have
been signed, by all applicable plan reviewers, we will move the permit forward either to the Fire Department or back to
permitting for permit issuance.

As follows is response to plan review comments:
Plumbing —
Plans have been revised to show existing restrooms and calculations have been added to plans to
determine number of required restrooms. Two restrooms are required and are existing.
Plaster trap exists in laboratory and is now designated on plans:
Facility does not currently have an accessible drinking fountain. It is now indicated on plans.
(3) St. Lucie County Certification for Design Load compliance are attached.
(3) Product review affidavits are attached.
A sheet has been added to the set showing Life Safety Plan of the entire building.
All applicable reference standards are now referenced on plans.
Square footage and occupant load has been added to plans.
Plans have been revised to indicate that a new window is to be installed. Product approval
information has been added to plans.
Slab repair is as shown, no dowels or epoxy.

Exterior flashing, masonry veneer details. Bearing ledge etc has been added to plans. I was not
able to find a brick tie with product approval, and was told by engineers at Simpson Strong -tie,
that their brick ties are code accepted because they are 22 gauge galvanized steel which is as
