The Board of Directors, in there meeting on May 10, 2014 has instructed management to
"engage the services Mathers Engineering Corporation to prepare plan and specification for
the repair and restoration work necessary on Building "C" balconies and catwalks, Building
"D" stacks 7&8 and to assist management in the receipt and analysis of up to three
competitive bids." Management will present the three bids, with the analysis and report the
finding t6the Board of Director.
With regards to the three balcony concepts, Option 1 would not work because of the hurricane
shutter not being able to close. You may want to take a different approach as can be
addressed in your plans and specifications.
Time is of the essence and we would like to have a decision from the Board of Directors by
mid to late June. I will be available to assist you in any way that you find helpful in meeting
this deadline. Let me know if you have any further questions.
