7.0 General Description: Each sample consisted of a 120" x 120" roof structural frame fabricated from
nominal 2" x 12" wood intermediate rafters spaced 24" on center. This assembly was sheathed with a
single layer of 1/2" (nominal) CDX plywood and then the roof system was attached directly to the surface
of the roof deck.

Panel Each panel was fabricated from 42" wide coil of 26-ga steel and had an
effective covering width of 36". Each finished roof panel was 120" (long) and
featured 4 (four) ribs that were 1-1/8" high. There were also 2 (two) Striations

580 test. No failures were observed in any components of the roof system or in any of
the fasteners used to attach the roof system to the prepared structural roof frame.

Subsequent to the completion of Phase 5 of the Class 90 test sequence, the test specimen may
