federal jurisdictional determination -and all formal wetland -delineations must be
obtained from appropriate state and/or federal agencies.

3. SIGNIFICANT ARCHAEOLOGICAL OR HISTORIC FINDINGS: None identified.
Exemption #20140931 Authorizes the following: The removal of all vegetation within the existing
ROW to allow for the construction of the Lennard Road extention to Bromeliad Circle. No native
vegetation outside of the project boundary shall be removed at this time.
Mitigation: No mitigation is required, as this road construction project is an exempt activity.
General Conditions of Issuance:
• The following minimum standards for vegetation protection shall be applied to areas of
vegetation designated to be preserved:
• At a minimum distance of either ten (10) feet from the edge of groups of protected
vegetation or from the radius of the dripline from all protected trees, whichever is greater;
Protective barriers or protective designations shall remain in place until removal is
authorized by SLC ERD, or until issuance of a certificate of occupancy;
In the event that any protective barriers are removed or altered and clearing activities are
conducted within an area identified for preserve, SLC ERD is authorized to direct that all
land clearing and site alteration work at the site be stopped until the barriers are restored
and any necessary corrective actions taken to repair or replant any vegetation removed or
damaged as a result of these encroachments.
• The preserve areas and tree preservation areas shall be maintained in their natural state, so as
not to alter the water and oxygen content of the soil and impair its function;
• No grade changes or excavation of any sort may be made within the barricaded areas;
• If any excavation or other activities are expected outside of the preserve area or dripline, the
roots should first be pruned (to the depth of required excavation) to sever them cleanly;
• If underground utilities must be routed through a protected root zone area, tunneling under the
roots shall be required;
• If irrigation must be installed, it shall be installed outside of the dripline of all preserve areas and
protected trees;
• No fill material, construction material, concrete; paint, chemicals, or other foreign materials shall
be stored, deposited or disposed of within a vegetation preservation area;
• No signs, permits; wires, l—qr others attrachmentsl =-shall be affixed_ -or attached to protected
vegetation_
• No equipment including,pas�gervehicleshalhriven parked, o:stored or repaired within
designated vegetation preservation=areas.--_

Upon_ completion of the project and prior to requesting a Final Paving and Drainage Inspection, please
submit three (3) copies of signed and scaled record plans with a signed and sealed letter of completion
from the project engineer. Tice plans must depict at a minimum the location and finished grades of all
buildings and paving; critical spot clevatlons, pavement marl ngs, traffio siguage, the loch6n, ype, size,
materW and inverts of all drainage structure improvements and the location of any, stormwater
management facilities.
Please be advised, operators of construction activities that propose to clear, excavate or fiii'l.0 acre of
Iand or more over the life ofthe project am required to obtaincoverage under the Florida Department of
Environmental Protection's National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System "Generic Permit' for
$Wrmwatec Discharge from' Large and -Small Construction, Activities' anda vegetation removal permit
prior to any construction activity on site A copy of the Notice of Intearto file for coverage tinder this
permit must be submitted to this office asYequired'to discharge to the County's Municipal Separate Storm
Sewer System (MS4). A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan must be developed and implemented to
be in compliance with the permit, Elements of a SWPPP include Best Management Practices that willbe
