REF: Permit Application No. 1602-0153 See page 2 of the attached, "requesting a copy of the fire sprinkler plans for the Building Department's file" Simple question: At this phase, is the request for fire sprinkler plans something that is holding -up the release of this permit application? Normally, we would produce a fire sprinkler shop drawing a little bit later in the project, and submit to SLC Fire Prevention for review and approval. This is usually done after the master permit is released and we are officially contracted with the owner, in this case Luso Holdings. We would be happy to provide additional copies to SLC Building & Zoning at once our shop drawings are completed, or betteryet after they are reviewed and approved by SLC Fire, when we can provide a stamped & approved copy. When we submitted for permitting Allen required we had pay his invoice before he would give us drawings, and then there are minimal charges from both Wieder Engineering and YRA Design to update the drawings to the new building code.
