This letter is to acknowledge the preliminary fastening pattern utilized at the Rosser Library project
in Port St Lucie, Florida.
The system consists of polyisocyanurate insulation with cover board. The insulation and cover
board was preliminarily fastened with screws and plates to the metal deck. The rate of fastening was
sparatic at the base and interim layers of insulation at the tapered crickets and were placed at 5
fasteners per 4' x 8' board at the securerock cover board.
A mechanically fastened base sheet was installed where screws. and plates were used to secure the
base sheet to the metal deck down through the insulation. This fastening is .the point of attachment
that is critical to the uplift of the system. The pattern for this fastening is as follows.
Field area of the roof: I row in the laps at 9" o.c. with two rows in the center of the sheet @ 18"o.c.
Perimeter of the roof: 1 row in the laps @ 9" o.c. with 2 rows in the center of the sheet @ 11"o.c.
c- Comer areas of the roof: 1 row in the laps @ 9" o.c. 2 rows in the center of the sheet @ 11" o.c.
This attachment as described above is acceptable to JohnsManville for issuance of the 20 year NDL
warranty and was approved for issuance on 12/01/2016.
Feel free to contact me if I can be of further assistance.

Audrey,
The building is actually right under 21,000 square feet under air, 20,976 to be exact That package was something that
the roofer gave me yesterday. They are from out of town so I told them I could drop it off. Thanks for your help.

Hi Greg, I noticed differences in the sq. footage as you had 2 applications one had 221,000 and the other one had 18,733
which one is right? Get rid of the old application for roof permit, we only use the building permit application for
everything. I will keep this on my desk until I get the right info for the permit. The permit number is 1604-0099.
