Dear Mr. Cicio, RECEI'D SEP 2 0 2016 1SOZ-012 r SCQNNFD $f e Lucicounty Hutton Construction, the general contractor for the Family Dollar located on Lennard Road, has requested our assistance to resolve a. couple of outstanding issues with the St. Lucie County Building department regarding two inspections that were not properly coordinated between the contractor and your office. As you know, there has been a number of superintendents that the contractor has had onsite. As a result, both the water and sewer lines from the City of Port St. Lucie owned utilities system to the building were not inspected by your department in a timely manner. The Velcon Group, as engineer of record for the project, had inspectors onsite during the construction of the water distribution system onsite as well as the sewer collection lines. Accompanying this letter, please find a copy of our as built survey, depicting the size and location of these lines as a verification that it meets both our design criteria and the 2014 Florida Building Code, as it relates to plumbing. Additionally, our office also was present when the dumpster pad was formed, verifying size, rebar placement and overall compliance with the architectural drawings, as shown in the approved plans.
