This office has reviewed design criteria for the installation of a 10'-0" wide x 16'-0" tall monument
sign at the above project site. This monument sign is fabricated to include ACRYLITE light -transmitting
plastic sheets. Based on our review of technical specifications and test results for ACRYLITE FF, GP,
RESIST 45, RESIST 55, and RESIST SG acrylic sheets, this plastic material meets the requirements of the
below -noted building code Section 2606.4 as a Class CC2 light -transmitting plastic. The following
characteristics are reported in the manufacturer's specifications:
• ASTM D-1939: Self -ignition temperature greater than 65O'F
• ASTM D-635: Burn rate less than 2.5"/min (all thicknesses z 0.060")
• ASTM D-2843: Smoke density rating less than 75
• ASTM E-84: Smoke density rating less than 450
All design and installation criteria not explicitly addressed herein shall adhere to the requirements
and limitations noted in the Florida Building Code 5d' Edition (2014), as well as respective product
design professional's specifications (where applicable). This report and all

will perform the additional reviews as necessary in order to complete the plan review process. Once the plans have
been signed, by all applicable plan reviewers, we will move the permit forward either to the Fire Department or back to
permitting for permit issuance.
