Project Description: Recover the existing roof system per the details below in
accordance with warranty requirements and OSHA standards.
Existing Roof Preparation
• Sweep and remove or vacuum loose gravel from existing roof.
• Cut and remove blisters as required.
• Tear out wall and curb flashings as needed.
• Remove debris from roof surface. CO""T
Roof Installation F Ea
• Mechanically attach Y2" recovery board over existing roof system
• Install the GAF 45 mil TPO Rhinobond Roof System.
• Details will be installed to contract, however, should an improved detail be
discovered at the preconstruction meeting or upon starting the project, it will be
discussed with the customer.
Metal Details
• Install approximately 225 linear feet of new TPO up walls and install new
aluminum termination bar where applicable. Install new 24-gauge prefinished
galvanized counterflashing over termination bar. (Detail E)
• Install approximately 865 linear feet of TPO up and over the parapet walls and
install new 24 gauge prefinished galvalume two-piece snap -on metal roof edge.
(Detail G)
• Existing gutters and downspouts are to remain. Terminate membrane into gutter
with new aluminum termination bar. (Detail N)
• Standard metal below is not included in the roofing system warranty. Standard
metal does include a 30-year finish warranty. For uplift warranted and other metal
options, request the Premium Metal Selections addendum.

Standard metal selection is to match existing metal. If a custom color is preferred,
selection must be made here in order to accept a contract or purchase order and
begin work. Custom color preference (additional cost may apply):

Other Details
Flash all curbs, pipes, pitch pockets and other penetrations per manufacturer
specifications.
Install up to 20 linear feet of new walkway pads at roof access points.
North American Roofing to provide all dumpsters necessary to complete roofing
project.
