3. Failure to correct the violation may result in the scheduling of a public hearing before the St. Lucie
County Code Enforcement Board. If the Board schedules a hearing, the Board is empowered to levy a
fine not to exceed $250.00 per day for each day the violation continues past the date set for compliance.
A fine not to exceed $500.00 per day may be levied for a repeat violation. The fine may become a lien
upon the real or personal property of the violator.
