WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, based on the testimony and evidence, including but not limited to the staff report, has made the following determinations: Sovran Acquisition Ltd Partnership presented a petition for a Major Adjustment to a Major Site Plan project to add one acre of land and expand the total building square footage by 29,037 square feet and change the project name (FKA Store -it Mini Storage) of the household goods self storage facility in the CG (Commercial, General) Zoning District located at 8531 South US Highway 1, approximately 1Y4 mile north of Savanna Club Boulevard as described in Part B below and depicted in Exhibit "A". 2. On May 13, 1986, the Board of County Commissioners approved Resolution 86-94 granting site plan approval for a project known as Stor-it Mini -storage located at 8531 South US Highway 1. 3. On October 7, 1997, through Ordinance 97-009, the St. Lucie County Board of County Commissioners approved the transferal of warehousing and storage services — household goods warehousing and storage from the permitted uses to the conditional uses in the CG (Commercial, General) Zoning, classifying the existing storage facility as a conditional use. A concurrent application has been submitted for an adjustment to the existing conditional use. 4. The Development Review Committee has reviewed the proposed site plan for the project and found, with the proposed conditions, it meets the technical requirements of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code and has satisfied the standards of review set forth in Section 11.02.07, Standards for Site Plan Review, of the Land Development Code. 5.
