Dear Mr. Vilchez,
Thank you for presenting at the St. Lucie County Citizen's Academy on October
7, 2021. The Citizen's of St. Lucie County who attended the "Protect & Serve"
session enjoyed hearing from you about the Emergency Operations Center and
emergency planning. The feedback I received from the citizen's was positive
and included comments like "so interesting".
The Citizen's Academy is an interactive civic and public information program
aimed at giving residents an opportunity to learn more about their county
government. Learning about how the Emergency Operations Center (EOC)
prepares for, responds to, recovers from, and mitigates against threats in our
community, as well as how to implement disaster preparedness was well
received.
Again, thank you and the EOC staff for the service provided to the residents of
St. Lucie County.
