RE: Sam Snead's Tavern: 8540 Commerce Centre Dr., Port St. Lucie, FL 34986
The purpose of this letter is to address the match -up of the indoor air handling unit
with the outdoor condensing unit for the split DX air conditioning system at the
above address.
The indoor air handling is an existing York model LA12000OA6, rated at 10 tons, and
the outdoor condensing unit which is being replaced is a Ruud model RAWL120CAZ
rated at 10 tons.
This replacement condensing unit is an acceptable match -up for cooling capacity and
inter -operability with the existing indoor air handling unit (with proper expansion
device).
The newer, more efficient condensing unit should provide at a minimum the previous
system efficiency, if not exceed the rating as per section 101.4.7 of the 2014, 5th
Edition FBC Energy Conservation Code.
