The following answers to your plans review comments are offered for the project referenced above:
1) Please show entire occupant load of all buildings that the referenced restrooms are serving per
table 403.1 FPC 2014. The existing restrooms as shown at? Architectural Page Al.1 meet the
fixture requirements as per the FPC 2014 Table 403.1. A total occupant load far bath the existing
and proposed building additions is shown on Architectural Page A1.0 under "Plumbing Fixture
Note. " Fixture requirements as per the code are also indicated therein.
2) Please show the required drinking fountains and service sink per table 403.1 FPC2014. Existing
drinking fountain and laundry service sink is shown on Architectural Page A1.1.
3) Please show the required A6A accessible restroom per section 604 of the Florida Accessibility
Code. 2014 and the accessible route to them from the proposed building. Existing Accessible
Restroom configuration is now shown on Architectural Page A 1.1 along with the existing
accessible route from the proposed building addition. An accessible travel path fiam the
proposed building addition to the existing restrooms shall be provided across a level floor.
4) Need three (3) sets of the Metal Building Plans from the manufacturer, signed and sealed and
dated in original format, reviewed and approved by the Design Professional of Record, Michael
Lue, P. E.. Signed and Sealed Metal Building Plans shall be provider( under separate cover.
5) Submit three (3) sets of the manufacturer's specs for the Helical Piles rated for the loads as
specified on S-4. These specs mast be reviewed and approved by the Design Professional of
Record. Three (3) sets of manufacturer's Helical Pile specifications reviewed and approved by
iblichael Lue. P.E. are attached.
6) Submit one (1) original S.S.D. Soils Report from the Testing Agency. Soils report shall be
submitted under separate cover.
7) Typical wall sections for the beam work on Architectural Page A3.0, Structural Page S-3 and
notes on Structural Page S- I do not match. The Architectural Page A3.0 and notes on Structural
Page S-1 have been revised so all drawings correspond
8) Submit three (3) St. Lucie County "Product Review Affidavits" signed, sealed and dated by your
design professional. Please detail all applicable cladding or submit product approvals for
same/product approvals must be approved by your Design Professional of Record with applicable
tables and fasteners highlighted. A completed St. Lucie County Product Review Affidavit is
attached
9) Show the corrected step dimensions with required handrails details per FBC 1003.5 [2]. A stair
detail with dimensions has been added to Architectural Page A2.0.

The base plate modification to the (4) crane columns along Frame Line 2 consisting of

Re: Helical Pile Installation Logs, Pursuit Boats, 3901 St. Lucie Blvd, Fort Pierce, FL
Dear Mr. Brownie;
To clarify the values input to the helical pile installation ]ogs for the above referenced project, I
have provided the following report for your use.
The "required kips" working load shown in the pile logs is 22 kips for all pile locations. This is
a design requirement dictated by the EOR. This value is the maximum actual working load the
pile component is expected to see in its service life and the minimum capacity load to which all
piles must be installed. All piles are to be installed to have a "final kips" provided load that
meets or exceeds this value.
The "final kips" value in the logs is the actual real world installed "provided" working capacity.
As can be seen in the logs, all real world pile capacities for this project exceed the required value
of 22 kips, sometimes by quite a large value.
