This is to confirm that the amount of.water'spread', at the inlet, will not exceed FDOT drainage standards. I was told that there is an FDOT'drainage manual'that has such standards and the engineer should know: I have found two such manuals online- FDOT Drainage Handbook and the FDOT Drainage Design Guide. 2) A letter from Mr. Hayhurst stating the following: "I understand and accept the deficient compaction test results that I received during construction. I also understand the drainage facilities within the right-of-way were built too high compared to the design plans. I understand that I am responsible for any future results of the constructed conditions and I acknowledge that I did not retain the services of a professional engineer to monitor or review construction activity." Mr. Hayhurst submitted the attached letter, however, I am told it does not suffice. 3) A letter from Rod Kennedy, PE identifying the 'deviations' from the design construction plans as identified in the attached punch list (items circled).
