OUR GRATINGS FEATURE 1/2" MAXIMUM OPENINGS, PASSING THE 13MM BALL TEST. We have a wide variety of ADA compliant gratings to suit our client needs, Including both Molded and Pultruded gratings. MOLDED ADA COMPLIANT GRATING OPTIONS: All of our Molded ADA compliant FRP grating options offer the same benefits of our standard Molded Gratings, perfect for use in a wide variety of environments, such as high heel and cane/crotch traffic areas. We are able to manufacture these gratings with any of our available resin systems and can custom manufacture to any she up to 4' wide and 12' long. There are two types of molded grating that we currently manufacture that meet all ADA requirements. Mini -Mesh Fiberglass Grating Stock in 4'x 12' panels In General Purpose Resin • 1-1/2"deep x N"Mini-Mesh,(1/2" clear openings), Light Gray • 1•deep x3/4"Mini-Mesh„(1/2" clear openings), Dark Gray Applications • Water Parks • Playgrounds • Diving platforms • Docks • Or anywhere molded grating is used where • Added pedestrian/stroller comfort is desired or • The material needs to meet ADA requirements The small mesh of our Gridwalk Mini -Mesh grating allows for additional comfort for bare feet or high heels due to the additional surface area in contact with the surface of the foot. This also allows for ease of rolling wheelchairs or strollers over the surface as well. Superspan ADA Fiberglass Grating • Unique bar shape allows for the grating to span greater distances than standard molded grating • 90% stiffer than standard 1-1/2" deep molded grating • Bars run perpendicular to the direction of traffic to comply with ADA requirements • •Same benefits as molded grating • Not a stocked panel ,_ https://www.americangrating.com/ADAcompliantfrpgrating.aspx 2/10/2017 jr ADA Compliant FRP Grating I Custom Options Available! Page 2 of 2 • Can be manufactured in up to a 4' wide x 12' long panel. • 1-1/2depth • All resin types and colors are possible options PULTRUDED ADA COMPLIANT GRATING OPTIONS: Our Pultruded ADA compliant grating options offer the same benefits of our standard Pultruded Gratings and come with our standard grit surface. Pultruded ADA Compliant Gratings offer more strength than our Molded Gratings due to the fiberglass content (see Pultruded Fiberglass Grating for more information)This allows the grating to span greater distances with fewer supports. Since these gratings are manufactured and assembled with load bars and crossrods, we are able to provide custom sizes and configurations as well, in addition to our standard ADA compliant options listed below: Stocked Grating options: 1" deep, 18% Open • T-bar Pultruded grating • Isophthalic Resin in Light Gray • 4'x 19 panel 1' deep, 40% Open • 1-bar Pultruded grating • Isophthalic Resin in Light Gray • 4'x 20'panel I'd ep.60% Open • kbar Pultruded Grating • Isophthalic Resin in Light Gray • 4'x 20'panel • Note: This grating is perfect when Opening requirements are high, but ADA compliant material is still required. 1-1/2" deep, 40% Open • kbar Pultruded grating • Isophthalic Resin in Light Gray or Yellow • 4'x 2U panel In addition to the stocked ADA grating options listed above, we can also custom manufacture to sizes and shapes as necessary, in both Isophthalic or Vinyl Ester Resins. Panel sizes can be up to S' wide and 20' long.
