Johnson, Facilities Manager St. Lucie (',0ilnb DATE: February 16, 2017 SUBJECT: Building Permit Application Signature Authority On an increasingly frequent basis, the Facilities Division is applying for "OwnerBuilder" permits through the building department to renovate and rehab existing County owned infrastructure. One of the inefficiencies of the process is the physical routing of permit applications for County Administrator signature. This request is for the Facilities Manager to have signature authority (second to the Administrator) on building permit applications, as well as any necessary accessory documents related to budgeted projects,or maintenance renovations on County owned buildings, dwellings, —or structures. —If approved, —copies shall -be routed to the Building Official and other divisions as necessary. RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Facilities Manager, Jeremiah K. Johnson, or his designee to sign Owner/Builder permit applications and accessory documents through the Building Department.
