Certificate of Authorization N8064 INSTALLATION METHOD "Englert HT" Self -Adhered Roofing Underlayment � General Installation Instructions: -- ill C P • Prime surface as recommended by manufacturer. • Align the membrane, by completely unrolling and pressing exposed membrane area into place. • Once aligned, wind back one half of the length. • Score the release film on the high side of the roll. • Unroll the first half of the roll by peeling back the release film and simultaneously pushing out the membrane. • Repeat this procedure with the remaining half of the length. • Firmly roll installed membrane using uniform pressure with a 2-3" heavy steel or rubber roller to seams and overlap. • Side laps must be a minimum of 3" and End laps a minimum of 6". • Product to be applied directly to a clean dry surface. • Dust, dirt, oil, grease, moisture, debris and other loose materials or contaminants must be removed prior to application. • Check that all nails in deck are not protruding and re -fasten any loose decking panels. • Product shall not be permanently exposed to sunlight. • Do not store underlayment in areas where moisture is a problem. • Protect membrane from damage Auring construction. • Apply membrane only in fair weather when the air, surface and membrane are at temperatures of 40 degrees Fahrenheit and higher. • "Englert HT" shall not be left exposed for more than 90 days after installation. • "Englert HT" may be used with asphalt shingles, metal roofing, slate, simulated slate, tile or wood shakes & shingles. • Installation with tile roofs shall be in compliance with FRSA/TRI Florida High Wind Clay and Concrete Roof Tile Installation Manual, Fifth Edition, per FBC 1507.3.3 and 1507.3.3.1. Product shall be installed. in accordance with the installation method described herein and in compliance with applicable code sections of the Florida Building Code 5th Edition (2014), subject to the Limitations and Conditions of Use listed in this Evaluation Report.
