The project consisted of construction of twelve large warehouse buildings founded on an existing C&D landfill site. Project consisted of remodelling the existing structure, imposing additional loads to the existing foundations. Due to no as -built plans and design information available for the existing structure, a geotechnical investigation and survey of the foundations was performed. Using sophisticated finite element analysis software, Mr. Paniagua was able to provide the client the needed information and design recommendations to proceed with the project. • E & H Boat Works Marina — Boat Storage Building / Palm Beach Gardens, FL (3/2008 — 5/2008). Performed geotechnical investigation and design recommendations for this five stories boat storage building with interior crane system. Using a powerful finite element analysis software, Mr. Paniagua was able to provide the client with a shallow foundation design based on soil improvements which greatly reduced the foundation cost.
