All outlets in question are currently GFI protected by a GFI circuit breaker in each electrical panel of each unit. To change all outlets to GFI receptacles is redundant and unnecessary. Changing to GFI outlets, is a problem. Most of the outlet boxes in question will not accommodate a GFI outlet. Having redundant GFI devices will require access to each unit for at least one hour to remove GFI breaker and install new non-GFI breaker at cost to owner/ association. This will require a representative for supervision of each unit. Indian River -Electric can demonstratc4o-out and all that dwoudets in -question, are GFI protected by a testing device. Redundant GFI devices on any circuit may cause one or more devices to trip, requiring resetting all GFI devices, producing a nuisance to each homeowner with no added protection to residence.
