We are working with Clear Span on the permit. I have a few questions below —
1.) Can you tell me if our "tent" needs fire retardant material or is that a question for
the fire marshal?
2.) Ae there any special galvanization requirements of the metal?
3.) Do you need geotechnical reports?
4.) Certification of welds?
5.) Stamped/sealed drawings of helical anchors or building itself?

Following up on our telephone conversations, as discussed Carl Peterson, our Building Official, has
advised that the erection of the tent structure must be completed by a licensed building or general
contractor. Given this not being the case, then the pulling the remaining canvas over the rest of the
structure cannot be done.
Debra Zampetti, our Permitting Supervisor (772.462.1558) is ready to assist your contractor with the
construction permit, which must be applied for immediately. She will provide the submittal
requirements. Permit and inspection fees will apply.
Not knowing the exact square footage of the tent structure, the addition to the Maverick Boats Major
Site Plan can be processed as a Minor Adjustment. At a minimum the documents will need to include an
updated site plan, survey and landscape plan. Attached is the Main Development Application and Fee
schedule.
Needless to say, we will work with you to get all of this completed as quickly and readily as possible

Audrey,
Lynn requested pictures from the violation on Maverick and it appears the construction was primarily located over
existing concrete with just the footers impacting unpaved surface on the edge. This one is also ok to be issued without
and ERD permit or exemption but thanks again for checking with us.
