This letter is to confirm that we have completed our review of the structural design for the 10'-6" X 36'
monopole billboard located at 10850 South Federal Highway, Port St. Lucie, FL. Our review was
conducted to determine the adequacy of the existing structure to accommodate any additional loads
applied to the structure as a consequence of the proposed digital faces by Watchfire Time-O-Matic, LL.0
(9 x 35 Matrix 10'-0"X36'-0"). Our conclusions are based on the assumption that the sign structure was
constructed in compliance with plans drawn by us (Richardson Engineering) dated 3-15-07. Job 8
061494.
The proposed faces do not increase the projected area of the existing faces and therefore there is no
increase in the applied lateral forces due to wind. The only increases in applied loads are the downward
forces due to gravity which amount to 3600 pounds per face. Our analysis of the structure indicates that
the existing structure is able to accommodate the extra gravity loads in conformance with the minimum
load requirements of the 2014 (5th Ed) Florida Building Code. The structure also meets
the "REQUIREMENTS TO MEET THE ABOVE WIND LOAD" as provided on the drawings provided
to us by you from Watchfire. Please note that the drawings by Watchfire require that the faces be
mounted to the existing structure using a Watchfire provided mounting system.
Please call if we can be of any further assistance,
Sincerely, Z '
