Dear Ms. Hirstius:
Enclosed are the Public Notice sign requirements, sign content, affidavit and invoice required for
the above petition. The "Sign Content Form" indicates the exact wording required for the sign.
The "Sign Requirements Form" specifies the required color, size and height dimensions for the
sign as well as the requirement to locate any underground utilities that might exist on the
property at least 3 days prior to digging by calling 811 or 1-800-432-4770. The attached affidavit
must be signed, notarized and returned to the Planning and Development Services Department
— Planning Division along with payment and two electronic photos of the sign (one close-up
depicting the sign's content and one far away showing the sign's location on the property) as
specified in the sign requirements and content forms.
Payment along with the photos and signed affidavit must be received by the Planning and
Development Services Department — Planning Division on or before November 4, 2013. Please
submit payment in the form of cash or a check payable to St. Lucie County in the amount of
$628.20.
As agent for this petition the authorization to proceed with the Public Hearing is subject upon the
receipt of the photos, signed notarized affidavit and the deposit and verification of funds.

This sign must be installed by Thursday, November 7, 2013. Submit signed and notarized
affidavit along with two dated color photos of the installed sign to St. Lucie County Planning
and Development Services Department — Planning Division office by Thursday, November 8,
2013 (Please see attachments).
All photos must be submitted electronically. Failure to submit verification of posting
public notice in advance of the hearing in specification with the dates above will result

The PUBLIC HEARING for this item is to be held in the Commission Chambers, Roger Poitras
Annex, 3rd Floor, St. Lucie County Administration Building, 2300 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce,
Florida, on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 6:00 pm or as soon thereafter as possible before
the Planning and Zoning Commission and on January 7, 2014 at 6:00 pm or as soon thereafter
as possible before the Board of County Commissioners.
Copies of the petition are available at the front desk in the Planning and Development Services
Department, County Administration Building, 2300 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce.

All Public Notice Signs must be printed by a professional printer. A locate for
underground utilities must be conducted on the property by calling 811 or 1-800-432-4770 at
least 3 days prior to digging and installation of the sign.
Sign wording to be provided by the SLC Planning Division on the "Posting of Notice Sign
Content" form at least 20 days prior to the required Public Hearing.
Times may vary depending on Code requirements and / or types of applications.
