Located at 10410 S. Ocean Drive, Jensen Beach, FL 34957
A 6 % " wide; 1 '/2" deep; 8'-6" notch had been cut into the post -tensioned floor deck to
accommodate two electrical conduits (1/2" and 3/4") for a kitchen renovation. Prior to the notch
being done the owners had the post tension cables located.
The observation of the deck showed no cracking within the notch, and the chalked line locates of
the post tension cables were visible. No observed cracking was found and the notch was properly
shaped and cleaned. Contractor was authorized to repair using Sika 211 Concrete Mix that will
restore and maintain the original structural integrity of the floor deck.
Repair materials used and work performed to date has been substantially completed in
conformance with standard engineering practices.
