The following specifications am applicable to this project:
1. All work shall be in accordance with the Sth Edition (2014) Florida Budding Code, and any
other applicable local codes and regulations.
2. Aluminum extrusions shall be 6005 T5 Alloy. Due to quality control issues, no manufacturer
substitution is acceptable without the specific written, signed and sealed authorization of
Suncoast Aluminum Engineering, LLC.
3. Screen Material: Design based on I8/14 or20/20 Better View. Any other material must be
approved
4. Fasteners am required to be corrosion resistant, minimum SAE Garde 2 or better zinc plated to
ASTM B633, or stainless steel series "300".
5. All Self Mating Beam Sections are to be stitched with either#14 screws 6" from ends and 24"
center to center or#12 screws 6" from ends and 12" center to center.
6. Where concrete specifications are required whether in the screen enclosure scope or not, by one
or mom regulatory agency, the following specifications are applicable:
a Concrete shall conform to ASTM C94 forthe following components:
i. Portland Cement Type 1,-ASTM C 150
iL Aggregates - Large Aggregate 3/4" max-ASTM C 33
iu. Air entraining +/-1%-ASTM C260
iv. Waterreducing agent- ASTM C 494
v. Clean Potable water
vi. Other admixtures not permitted
b. Metal accessories shall conform to:
L Reinforcing Bars- ASTM A615, grade 60
ii. Welded wire fabric - ASTM A185
c. Concrete slump at discharge chute not less than 3" or more than 5". Water added alter
hatching is not permitted .
d Prepare and place concrete per American Concrete Institute Manual of Standard Practice,
Parts 1, 2, and 3 including hot weather recommendations
e. Moist cue or polyethylene caring permitted.
f. Prior to placing concrete, treat the entire subsurface area for termites in compliance with
the FBC.
g. Concrete slap be placed over a polyethylene vapor barrier.
h. AR aluminum components embedded within concrete shall be coated with a bituminous
paint or epoxy.
7. Ali flashing and weatherproofing shall be provided by the contractor.
S. Door location shall be determined by contractor in the field
9. Use ofthese plans acknowledges and accepts a limit of liability not to exceed design and

Specifications
The following specifications are applicable to this project
1. Ali work shall be in accordance with the 5thEdition (2014) Florida Building Code, and any
other applicable local codes and regulations.
2. Aluminum extrusions shall be 6005 T5 Alloy. Due to quality control issues, an manalectmr
substitution is acceptable without the specific written, signed and sealed authorization of
Smcoast Aluminum Engineering, LLC.
3. Screen Material: Design based on 18114 or20/20 Better View. Any other material must be
approved
4. Fasteners are required to be corrosion resistant, minimum SAE Grade 2 or better zinc plated to
ASTM B633, or stainless steel series'300".
5.All Self Mating Beam Sections are to be stitched with either #14 screws 6' from ends and 24"
center to center or #12 screws 6" from ends and 12" center to center.
6. Where concrete specifications are required, whether in the screen enclosure scope or not by one
or more regulamry agency, the following specifications are applicable:
a Concrete shall conform to ASTM C94 for the following components:
i. Portland Cement Type 1,-ASTM C 150
E. Aggregates -Large Aggregate 314" man: -ASTM C 33
iiL Airentraining+/-l%-ASTMC260

The following specifications are applicable to this project
1. All work shall be in accordance with the Sth Edition (2014) Florida Building Code, and any
other applicable local codes and regulations r
2. Aluminum extrusions shallbe 6005 T5 Alloy. Dueto quality control issues, no manufacturer
substitution is acceptable without the specific written, signed and scaled authorization of
Sunwast Aluminum Engineering, LLC.
3. Screen Material: Design baud on 18114 or2020 Better View. Any other material must be
approved
4. Fasteners are required to be corrosion resistant, minimum SAE Grade 2 or better zinc plated to
ASTM B633, or stainless steel series "300".
5. All Self Mating Beam Sections are to be stitched with either #14 screws 6" from ends and 24"
center to center or #12 screws 6" from ends and 12" center to center.
6. Where concrete specifications me required whether in the screen enclosure scope or not, by one
or more regulatory agency, the following specifications are applicable:
n Concrete shall conform to ASTMC94 for the followingcomponents:
i. Portland Cement Type 1,-ASTM C 150
R Aggregates - Large Aggregate 3/4" max- ASTM C 33
iii AU entraining+/-1%-ASTM C 260

e. Moist earn or polyethylene curing permitted
E Prior to placing concrete, treat the entire subsurface area for termites in compliance with
the FBC.
g. Concrete shall be placed over polyethylene vapor bonier.
