To whom it may concern:
Cotton Commercial USA, Inc contacted Wieder Engineering, Incto provide the design wind
pressures for the new replacement door and sidelight for the above referenced building.
Using the following criteria it was determined that the maximum possible wind pressures
for this door is +49.7/-64.3 PSF and the sidelight window is +49.9/-64.8.
These pressures are based ore a total opening size of +/- V-10" wide x 8'-0" high and a
3'x8' door and a +/- 2'-10" x V-0" sidelight.
Design Criteria:
ASCE7-10 Design Loading for Buildings and Other Structures
170 MPH Ultimate Wind Speed (132 MPH Nominal Wind Speed)
Exposure Category D
Risk Category II
+/- 0.18 Internal Pressure Coefficient (Enclosed Building)
