GFA International, Inc. has completed field observations and testing services during the site
preparation on the above referenced project. A review of GFA's field density report indicates
that the soils within the building pad achieved a minimum of 95% of the maximum dry density
as obtained by ASTMA 557.
Upon review of the field and laboratory tests performed on the building pad soils for the
above referenced project, it is GFA's opinion that the soils have been prepared in accordance
with KSM Engineering & Testing report, dated September 9, 2015, that a safe bearing
capacity of 2,500 psf has been achieved.

Dear Mr. Pasternak:
As requested, GFA International, Inc. visited the above referenced project on October 9,
2017 to verify 18 inches of #57 stone material had been placed under the bottom side of the
south and east footing. Hand -probing using a Hand Cone Penetrometer was used to indicate
the approximate in -place compaction of material. The #57 stone was found to be well
tamped, firm and had the required 18 inches of stone as required by Fleming Structural PLLC
at the time of inspection.

GFA International, Inc. (GFA) has been retained by Life Storage to perform Structural
Steel Inspections for the proposed Uncle Bob's Self Storage located at 8351 South
Federal Highway in Port St. Lucie, St. Lucie County, Florida. Representatives of GFA will
perform structural steel inspections for the above reference project in accordance with the
permitted documents prepared by the Structural Engineer of Record.
GFA will be performing the following inspections:
Structural steel (Connections)
o Welding and bolting of all structural steel members.
o Connections of all floor and roof metal decking.
o Column base plates.
o Grouting of column base plates.
