Permit Number 1711-0360 [ foundation ]
Good afternoon Nancy,
As this project progresses for Maverick Boats we would like to close out the foundation
permit as soon as possible so that any outstanding inspections will not conflict with the completion of the main building
permit. There are a few outstanding original compaction reports needed from CSM Engineers along with the original
Final Helical report for the final 28 piles. We also need the copies of the batch / delivery tickets for the psi of the
concrete and once these items have been received and submitted into our system we can schedule the final inspection.

Thanks Peter. Can someone let Lydia know that? Once we get a site and foundation permit— hopefully imminent— I'll
come back with final drawings in hand (Ventilation & MEP) to review the rest of it and the documentation necessary to
permit the building— including another vegetation removal application. That allows us to get going to receive the
building. As most know, the site where all building construction and parking takes place was 100% exotics. Being that it
was a sand mine and fully cleared ten years ago, there were no upland trees. We flagged all the oaks up front (in the
County easement) and the cabbage palms around the lake and they remain intact. And the gopher tortoises were
removed.

Jim,
From the email Ben Balcer had sent and I forwarded to you back around the 17th:
Peter,
Per our conversation this morning. It is not necessary for Maverick to get a veg permit to stage the building materials
and prepare the foundation area for construction. We will have them fill out a Veg Permit Application when they apply
for the actual building permit. The only other issue is if they relocated their onsite gopher tortoises. In Jim's previous
email, he stated that he was taking care of that back in June, but I do not have any confirmation it ever occurred.
Please let me know if you need anything from ERD.
Thanks.
Ben Balcer
I believe the only 'formality' involved is to complete the application Ben notes in his email.
Please let me know if this helps.

Once again, they are wrong. It was an exemption for site clearing — is for exotics removal plus ANY vegetation for the 4-
foot fence perimeter —the entire site was exotics except for the front oak trees up front. That is why the entire site was
cleared (except the oaks). I will try to clear up with Ben Balcer and Peter Jones. Worst case I'll go down and fill one out
today. Obviously, there is nothing to clear.

Application for St. Lucie County Stormwater Permit 017-11
Dear Mr. McGuire,
Via: Email and mail
The Water Quality Division has reviewed the plans and calculations and has received the Stormwater
fee for the above referenced project. The Stormwater permit application for the above referenced project
is hereby deemed complete and is approved subject to the following conditions:
Upon completion of the Stormwater improvements and prior to requesting a Final Paving and Drainage
Inspection, please submit three (3) copies of"as-built" record plans signed and sealed by a professional
land surveyor licensed to practice within the state of Florida. A signed and sealed letter of completion
from the Engineer of Record shall also be required. This letter must outline any and all substantial
deviations from the approved set of plans attached to this letter. The plans must depict, at a minimum,
the location and finished grades of all building comers, critical pavement spot elevations, and changes
in grade or slope. The location, type, size, material and inverts of all drainage structures and pipes, the
top of bank, toe of slope and detail of control structure(s) for any and all Stormwater treatment facilities
shall also be depicted. Sufficient elevations for all accessible routes shall be provided to demonstrate
compliance with all applicable regulations. Please be advised, operators of construction activities that
propose to clear, excavate or fill 1.0 acre of land or more over the life of the project are required to
obtain coverage under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection's National Pollutant
Discharge Elimination System "Generic Permit for Stormwater Discharge from Large and Small
Construction Activities". The Notice of Intent (NOI) to use the generic permit requires a Stormwater
Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) that must be implemented to show compliance. Elements of a
SWPPP include Best Management Practices that will be utilized to minimize soil erosion and
sedimentation from degrading the water quality of downstream water bodies. For more information,
please contact the FDEP NPDES Stormwater Section and refer to section 1-7.7 of the Code of
Ordinances of St. Lucie County, Florida.
