Once we get a site and foundation permit— hopefully imminent— I'll come back with final drawings in hand (Ventilation & MEP) to review the rest of it and the documentation necessary to permit the building— including another vegetation removal application. That allows us to get going to receive the building. As most know, the site where all building construction and parking takes place was 100% exotics. Being that it was a sand mine and fully cleared ten years ago, there were no upland trees. We flagged all the oaks up front (in the County easement) and the cabbage palms around the lake and they remain intact. And the gopher tortoises were removed. It is not necessary for Maverick to get a veg permit to stage the building materials and prepare the foundation area for construction. We will have them fill out a Veg Permit Application when they apply for the actual building permit. The only other issue is if they relocated their onsite gopher tortoises. In Jim's previous email, he stated that he was taking care of that back in June, but I do not have any confirmation it ever occurred. Please let me know if you need anything from ERD. Thanks.
