AN ORDER GRANTING ADMINISTRATIVE RELIEF FOR CERTAIN
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5350 STEEL BOULEVARD, LOCATED
IN ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA
WHEREAS, the St. Lucie County Planning and Development Services Director has
reviewed the request for a one year deferment to stripe the parking lot in accordance with
the provisions of Land Development Code Section 7.06.02 (B)(6) — Off -Street Parking and
Loading Design Standards for property located at 5350 Steel Boulevard and made the
following determinations:
Laura Sharp is requesting a one year deferment to stripe the parking lot in
accordance with the provisions of the Land Development Code Section 7.06.00 —
Wayfinding for a property located at 5350 Steel Boulevard.
2. On August 1, 1990, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County,
Florida, adopted the St. Lucie County Land Development Code and has adopted
amendments to the Land Development Code through certain ordinances.
3. On May 15, 2012, the Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida,
adopted Ordinance 12-003 granting the Planning and Development Services
Director the authority to make the determination after full analysis of all potential
impacts that a proposed use is in compliance with the provisions of the Land
Development Code and the St. Lucie County Comprehensive Plan.
4. The requested administrative relief has met the standards of review as set forth in
Sections 7.06.03.A and 10.01.02 of the St. Lucie County Land Development Code,
and is not in conflict with the goals, objectives, and policies of the St. Lucie County
Comprehensive Plan.
5. The project will not have an undue adverse effect on adjacent property, the
character of the neighborhood, traffic conditions, parking, utility facilities, or other
matters affecting the public health, safety; and general welfare.
6. The Planning and Developments Services Department, Planning Division staff has
performed a detailed analysis of the request to allow a deferral forthe striping of the
parking lot and determined it to be consistent with the St. Lucie County Land
Development Code. The analysis is found in the Planning and Development

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED:
A. The petition of Laura Sharp for administrative relief from the provisions of the St.
Lucie County Land Development Code Section 7.06.00 — Off -Street Parking and
Loading, to allow for a one year deferment for striping the parking lot is hereby
approved subject to the following conditions:
Install two handicap parking spaces and access aisle prior to Certificate of
Occupancy.
2. Provide signage for the interim designated customer parking area.
3. This deferment shall expire on one year from the effective date of this order.
B. The property on which this administrative relief approval is being granted is
described as follows:
