In previous responses to building department comments prior to permit issuance, there are no vertical or horizontal fire rated assemblies existing between the condo units. The filling of all penetrations with 4" thick concrete provides a minimum of two hour fire barrier. The building is Type 1B Residential R-2. Not sprinklered. 2. Based on field investigation prior to construction, there are no existing fire rated assemblies within or between the Penthouse units. 3. Will comply. See plans. 4. The interior wall framing will be 4" nominal 20 ga metal studs at 16" o.c., mechanically fastened to the floor slab with drilled screws. See plans. 5. Will comply. See plans. 6. Will comply. See plans for new panel schedules & load calculations. 7. Will comply. See electrical plans. 8. Will comply. See electrical plans. 9. Will comply. See plumbing plans. Note that only the Powder Room has fixtures moving requiring new piping for venting and waste. All others remain essentially the same. 10. Penetrations for new shower & toilet locations are shown on the plans. See attached letter provided by a Florida licensed Structural engineer with notes & details. 11. See HVAC plans for modified duct locations & sizes. There is no modification to the bathroom exhausts, and there is no exhaust for the Kitchen. 12. Will comply. See electrical plans.
