The specifications include the Scope of Work and a general Inspection Plan provided by the Engineer of Record, CSM Engineers. My threshold building special inspector number is 2072; fine registration #26001. . I will be sending you copies of monthly inspection reports to the Contractor at the end of each month, and to CSM Engineers. The following is the inspection plan (generalized & short): 1. Inspection of concrete after demolition. (progress) 2. Inspection of shoring, bar cleaning, forming (progress) 3. Final inspection- bar coating & pre -pour. (final) The Contractor is responsible for reporting to the building department monthly. Note that the Special Inspector does not perform continuous detailed records of work performed. Detailed records such as photographs, measurements, quantities, Contractor oversight and as-buills are the responsibility of the Engineer of Record.
