This letter is to certify that the hurricane shutters installed by Expert Shutter Services Inc. at the
address listed above meet all building codes requirements set by St. Lucie County Fl. SSTD 12, ASTM
E1886, ASTME1996, Florida Building Code TAS 201, 202 and 203.
The shutters were engineered, manufactured and installed to withstand external pressure from a
windstorm of at least 160 M.P.H. at a height of 33 feet above the ground and withstand impact from
wind borne debris in accordance with the standard set by the municipality of St. Lucie County.
To see a detailed description of the work performed please refer to the itemized invoice.

This document shall serve to state that Jeld-Wen products tested in accordance with ASTM E84-05 as per the 5th Edition
Florida Building Code shall be qualified for the requirements of the 6th Edition Florida Building Code.
The testing on the products complies with the requirements specified within the ASTM E84-13 standard, as required by
the 6" Edition Florida Building Code. This standard is listed under Chapter 35 of the current Florida Building Code and
titled "Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of Building Materials'.
ASTM E84-13 has been reviewed and determined to be technically equivalent to ASTM E84-05. All test results meet or
exceed requirements of the 6tb Edition Florida Building Code.
