Permit SLC-1805-0488 To Whom It May Concern: We are the Engineer of Records for the referenced sign location. Initially the owner wanted a 10'6" x 36' CM, back to back structure print for the existing location. So we prepared our drawing 73432-RI and that what was submitted. This was thought to be what was at the site as the existing sign. After further analysis of the actual sign on the site, we performed an engineering analysis and provided an updated drawing 73607-R2. You will note this drawing has the same square foot signage and height but the supports have changed (reinforced per our analysis). So the structure upon completion will meet the current code requirement and represents what will have to be changed to the existing sign. The changes were too numerous to make individual notes, so the drawing was redone but again meets all the same height, and size requirements as the original print. What can we put in the system that this is an existing sign that we are merely installing a digital face on the existing structure. He said we should even have building prints in the package.
