that the proposed garage door is in compliance with the 2017 Florida Building Code,160 mph wind zone,
exposure "C", risk category II.
From Table 1609.3.1: Vwt= 160mph
V.d= 124mph
From Table 1609.7(1): 16'h x 20'w door, 160mph=+23.3/-26.0
From Table 1609.7(2): 30' mean roof height, Exposure C = 1.40
Required Design Pressures: 23.3 x 1.40 = 32.62
-26 x 1.40 = -36.4
