It is acceptable to replace an existing bedroom window with a new impact rated
horizontal slider window made by Custom Window Systems. The HS-8200 PVC
Horizontal slider has a Florida number FL 16736.1 It has a +60 / -60 design pressure and
has a large missile "D" approval and HVHZ . The actual design pressures for that area is
+53.1 / -57.9. The building has a type II classification and exposure category "D" for the
6th Edition of the FBC (2017).
