THEY ARE CONSTRUCTING A RELIGIOUS FACILITY 3600 SQ FT AND 54 PARKING SPACES. REVEREND SPOONER went to RAY WAZNY and he decided I call the GC to get the Roof sub contract agreement which I did and as far as the Stormwater Permit if the impervious area did not go over the 4000 sq ft they did not need one. Ray explained to the Reverend if they decide to pave the parking he definitly will need a stormwater, paving and drainage permit from engineering. DATE: APRIL 9, 1998 TO: JAN FROM: LINDA SUBJECT: PERMIT #98040095 Rev Spooner resubmitted his plans 4/6/98. I took them in and reviewed them. I called him and told him I needed a roofing sub- contract agreement and asked him if he had a stormwater permit from engineering. He told me he already had engineering approval because he already had a culvert put in. I told him I will check with David Hays in engineering. Which I mailed message him and todate have not received a response. I also told Rev Spooner I will need a roofing sub -contract agreement and he told me he was doing the roof himself and the papers he received from us said he would be able to. I tried to explained to him even if he physically goes out there and puts the roof on himself for purposes of issuing a roof sub permit we still need a roofing contractor or the Philip Morgan his qualifier to fill out and sign a sub -contract agreement form. He called me today sounding disturbed that he needs a roof sub- contract agreement signed and insisted that the papers he received from us said he can do the roof himself. I tried to make him understand again and asked him to fax the paper that explained this, to me but he did not have a fax and he said he would bring the paper in when the permit was ready. I told him I will do my best to work with him and right know his plans were in plans review. He told me that he felt I was finding things wrong that were not brought up originally. I told him the list he was given back with the plans were from building and they did not address my end and we will do what we have to to get his permit thru. The application package was submitted originally in December. Dennis Murphy brought Rev Spooner over and asked me to work with him because the package was incomplete which I have and it is not always easy to work with incomplete packages when things come in piece meal which started out that way. To help move things along I sent the plans to Plans Review which made things more confusing because the structural plans were given back to Rev Sooner with a list of what was wrong with them in the early part of February. When I checked with Jose towards the end of March on the status of this permit, he still had the application but revised plans were still not brought in so I told him I would take the application and what paperwork we had and mail it back to Rev Sooner which I did March 31. Rev Spooner called me about mailing the application back to him and I told him we needed to do that because of our policy to have a permit ready to be issued in 60 days. So he would need to re -submit which he came over with Ray Wazny on April 6. If he is going to Dennis or Ray I would appreciate a list from them of what he can and cannot get away with. ff.
