Premium Atlantic Aluminum Non -Impact Steel Reinforced Sliding Patio Door for conformance to the current edition of the Florida Building Code — Building and Residential Volumes including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ). The engineering analysis (Reference 3.a) determines the anchorage of the product to the supporting substrate and the product evaluation report (this document) summarizes Florida Building Code compliance verification and appropriate Limitations and Conditions of Use. DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCT- INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS See Reference 1 for a description of the product, its installation and other pertinent data related to its approved use. CODE CONFORMANCE This product is designed to comply with the current edition of the Florida Building Code (FBC) requirements including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone (HVHZ). LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF USE This product evaluation contains or makes reference to specifications, technical details and installation details and/or methods that pertain to the proper use and/or installation of the product specified herein. Specific limitations and conditions of its use including but not limited to the following are contained in Reference 1 and are the subject of Product Approval in accordance with the State of Florida Product Approval Rule 61G20-3.005. • Design Pressure Rating (psf) • Installation restrictions. • Installation substrate requirements. • Product description. • Installation anchor requirements. • Product components. QUALITY ASSURANCE This product is manufactured under a quality assurance program audited by an approved Certification and Quality Assurance Entity National Accreditation & Management Institute (NAMI) as required in Rule 61G20- 3.005. Box 520775 — Longwood, Florida 37252 Product Evaluation Report FL No 49752 Phone: 321-690-1788 Fax: 321-690-1789 No. 2088, Rev.1 Page 2 of 4 FBPE Certification of Authorization No. 25935 APPLICATIONS/INSTALLATIONS OUTSIDE THE LIMITATIONS AND CONDITIONS OF USE Rule 61G20-3.005 states "Rational engineering analysis cannot be used in lieu of a standard test required by the Code for approval of products within the scope of the standard, except that project specific approval by the local authorities having jurisdiction in accordance with alternate methods and materials authorized in the Code." Any modification to this product as evaluated in this report and approved by the Florida Building Commission is outside the scope of this evaluation and will be the responsibility of others. As allowed in Rule 61G20-3.005,a project specific approval by the local authorities having jurisdiction may be used given an appropriate rational analysis is conducted and deemed acceptable to the local authorities having jurisdiction. PERFORMANCE AND TESTING STANDARDS Reference 2 conducted testing to the following standard. 1. TAS202-94, Criteria for Testing Impact & Non -Impact Resistant Building Envelope Components Using Uniform Static Air Pressure. REFERENCES & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS 1. Drawings: a. JELD0096 Rev. A, dated March 9, 2015, signed and sealed by Roberti. Amoruso, Jeld-Wen Inc. Premium Atlantic Aluminum Non -Impact Steel Reinforced Sliding Patio Door— Installation Anchorage Details. 2. Test Reports by National Certified Testing Laboratories: a. NCTL-210-3382-2, dated March 14, 2007 with Addendum, dated August 28, 2007 b. NCTL-210-3360-2, dated December 8, 2006 with Addendum, dated August 28, 2007 c. NCTL-210-3382-3, dated March 14, 2007 (TAS 202 test of impact product verifies 3-track system). SGD verification as follows: i. NCTL 210-3382-2 covered a 2-track system with five (5) 48" wide panel 237.25" x 96" XXXXX door with all utilized XXXXX stiles conditions, therefore door widths greater than the tested size are allowed. Pocket door configurations also covered by this testing. Multiple door configurations shown on Reference l.a covered in testing. ii. NCTL-210-3360-2 covered a 2-track system with six (6) 48" wide panel 283.5" x 96" OXXXXX door with all utilized OXXXXX stiles conditions, therefore door widths greater than the tested size are allowed. Multiple door configurations shown on Reference l.a covered in testing. iii. NCTL 210-3382-3 covered a 3-track system with a three (3) 48" wide panel 142.75" x 96" XXX door. This test verifies 3-track systems. This impact glazed door is used to verify 3-track system for non -impact applications. Multiple door configurations shown on Reference 1.8 covered in testing.
