This letter is to inform you about the upcoming concrete restoration project at the above mentioned
location. You should have received project specifications from the contractor. We will be
inspecting all structural work during the project as follows:
Threshold Building inspection Plan
• WORK LOCATIONS & DIRECTION: The engineer shall inspect structural repair areas and
approve work, as required, regarding location and extent of structural repairs.
• FORMS / SHORING: The engineer shall inspect forms and shoring prior to concrete repairs.
• EXCAVATION LIMITS: The engineer shall inspect and approve, all limits of concrete removal
and steel reinforcement repairs.
• APPROVAL TO PLACE CONCRETE: The engineer shall inspect all areas prior to concrete
placement and give approval, for concrete placements.
• PLACEMENT OF CONCRETE: All placements of concrete shall be inspected during the
placements.
• FINAL: The engineer shall inspect and approve the completion of structural repairs.
My threshold building special inspector number is 1126. Additionally, the following will be
authorized by me to perform inspections: Terri Chalaire, PE 65587 and Richard Damigos, El,
Project Engineer, Max Mertens, El, Project Engineer.
We will be sending you inspection reports on a weekly basis, signed and sealed by the professional
engineer. We will send a final inspection report when the project is completed.
