The original door openings were for double door at each units but we replaced them for single door and remaining opening was frame as a follows: The rough frame was built with 2x6 P.T. wood studs @ 16" o.c. as per FBCB 2017chapter 16 and 23 The exterior wall sheathing was done with 5/8" P.T. cdx plywood nailed with #8 ring shank @ 8" o.c. along the studs with 30# felt weather barrier, wirelath and 5/8" stucco The interior sheathing was finished with 5/8" drywall, nailed with 1 1/4" drywall screws @ 8" o.c. along the wood studs. The exterior wall insulation was R13 blanket between studs. According to FBC 2017 Energy conservation. The edge of the openings for the doors were protected by Flashing 8d Nail Wood Studs Air Space Water -Resistive Barrier...
