Specimen# I (OVIL)
The frame was constructed from "HDPE" plastic lumber and casings and
clad with 26 "Ga". steel. The frame head and iambs consisted of a
nominal 2.0" x 4.0" "HDPE" plastic lumber frame and casing, clad with 26
"Ga". steel. The nominal 2.0" x 4.0" HDPE plastic lumber frame and
casing was secured between (2) (face and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x
8.0" pieces of "HDPE" plastic lumber clad with 26 "Ga". steel on the head
and (2) (face and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x 8.0" pieces of "HDPEO
plastic lumber, clad with 26 "Ga". steel on each jamb. No sill was
employed on the frame. The cladding was wrapped around (3) sides of
each piece of "HDPE" lumber and was attached to the lumber with
staples.

clad with 26 "Ga". steel. The frame head and Iambs consisted of a
nominal 2.0" x 4.0" "HDPE" plastic lumber frame and casing, clad with 26

Specimen # 2 (INF)(Cont.) The nominal 2.0" x 4.0" "HDPE" plastic lumber frame and casing was
secured between (2) (face and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x 6.0" pieces of
"HDPE" plastic lumber clad with 26 "Ga". steel on the head and (2) (face
and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x 6.0' pieces of "HDPE" plastic lumber,
clad with 26 "Ga". steel on each jamb. No sill was employed on the frame.
The cladding was wrapped around (3) sides of each piece of "HDPE"
lumber and was attached to the lumber with staples.
Panel Description:
The active panel employed a 26 "Ga". steel skin that had an overall
measurement of 0.025". A foam core was used an the specimen and had
an overall thickness of 3.75'. The de -bridged aluminum perimeter
extrusion had an overall measurement of 4.0" x 1.855" and ran the full
length and width of the door. A bead of silicone was located between the
de -bridged aluminum perimeter extrusion and the interior steel skin. The
de -bridged aluminum perimeter extrusion was held to the frame using (2)
0.25" pan head fasteners, located on the top, bottom and rails of the door
at approximately 1.0" & 2.5" from each corner. An aluminum extrusion,
extruded to accept vinyl weatherstip was located on the bottom rail of the
active panel and had an overall measurement of 1.9" x 0.325. The
extrusion was secured to the active panel using # 10 x 1.0" hex head self -
tapping screws.

Sealant: A silicone bead "Dow Corning 11 99"was employed around the perimeter
of the frame that sealed the specimen to the wood test buck.
Installation Method
Specimen # I (OVL) The frame was installed into a 2" x 12" wood test buck with 4" x 4" sub -
buck using (10) 3.0" lag bolts. (2) bolts were located on the head at
approximately 14.50" from each jamb. (4) bolts were located on the jambs
at approximately 9.5" from the head and approximately 25.0" on center
thereafter.
Specimen # 2 (INF) The frame was installed into a 2" x 12" wood test buck with 4" x 4" sub -
buck using (11) 3.0" lag bolts. (2) bolts were located on the head at
approximately 14.50" from each jamb. (4) bolts were located on the hinge
jamb at approximately 9.25" from the head and approximately 25.0" on
center thereafter. (5) bolts were located on the lock jamb at approximately
9.25', 30.75', 47.75', 54.0', 65.25" & 85.75" from the frame head.

This test report was prepared by National Certified Testing Laboratory (NCTL), for the exclusive use of the
above named client and it does not constitute certification of this product. The results are for the particular
specimen tested and do not imply the quality of similar or identical products manufactured or installed from
specifications identical to the tested product. The test specimen was supplied to NCTL by the above named
client. Foam tape is mounted to the perimeter of the test buck prior to clamping to the test wall. NCTL is a
testing lab and assumes that all information provided by the client is accurate and does not guarantee or
warranty any product tested or installed. Testing was performed at the National Certified Testing Laboratory
Orlando Florida (NCTL).
Detailed drawings were available for laboratory records and compared to the test specimen at the time of this
report. Component drawings were reviewed for product verification. The bill of materials contains details with
any deviations noted. Ambient conditions during the referenced testing are available upon request. A copy of
this report along with representative sections of the test specimen will be retained by NCTL. This report does
not constitute certification or approval of the product, which may only be granted by a certification program
validator or recognized approval entity. All tests were conducted in full compliance with the referenced
specifications and/or test methods. This report may not be reproduced, except in full, without the written
consent of NCTL.

Specimen # I (OVL) The frame was constructed from "HDPE" plastic lumber and casings and
clad with 26 "Ga". steel. The frame head and jambs consisted of a
nominal 2.0" x 4.0" "HDPE" plastic lumber frame and casing, clad with 26
"Ga". steel. The nominal 2.0" x 4.0" HDPE plastic lumber frame and
casing was secured between (2) (face and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x
8.0" pieces of "HDPE" plastic lumber clad with 26 "Ga". steel on the head
and (2) (face and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x 8.0" pieces of "HDPE"
plastic lumber, clad with 26 "Ga". steel on each jamb. No sill was
employed on the frame. The cladding was wrapped around (3) sides of
each piece of "HDPE" lumber and was attached to the lumber with
staples.

secured between (2) (face and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x 6.0" pieces of
"HDPE" plastic lumber clad with 26 "Ga". steel on the head and (2) (face
and inside casing) nominal 2.0" x 6.0" pieces of "HDPE" plastic lumber,
clad with 26 "Ga". steel on each jamb. No sill was employed on the frame.
The cladding was wrapped around (3) sides of each piece of "HDPE"
lumber and was attached to the lumber with staples.
Panel Description:
The active panel employed a 26 "Ga". steel skin that had an overall
measurement of 0.025". A foam core was used on the specimen and had
an overall thickness of 3.75". The de -bridged aluminum perimeter
extrusion had an overall measurement of 4.0" x 1.855" and ran the full
length and width of the door. A bead of silicone was located between the
de -bridged aluminum perimeter extrusion and the interior steel skin. The
de -bridged aluminum perimeter extrusion was held to the frame using (2)
0.25" pan head fasteners, located on the top, bottom and rails of the door
at approximately 1.0" & 2.5" from each corner. An aluminum extrusion,
extruded to accept vinyl weatherstip was located on the bottom rail of the
active panel and had an overall measurement of 1.9" x 0.325. The
extrusion was secured to the active panel using 10 x 1.0" hex head self -
tapping screws.

of the frame that sealed the specimen to the wood test buck.

buck using (10) 3.0" lag bolts. (2) bolts were located on the head at
approximately 14.50" from each jamb. (4) bolts were located on the jambs
at approximately 9.5" from the head and approximately 25.0" on center
thereafter.
