SUBJECT: Shed replacement project
The shed replacement project is to be installedin the
place where the previous shed stood since 1990. This shed will
be used to store our sunshades when they need to be removed
should a hurricane warning be issued. We will also be storing
the bocce ball, shuffleboard and pickle ball equipment in the off-
season inside the shed.
We do not need any working electrical outlets in the shed.

Subject: RE: Pickleball court
Good afternoon Richard,
Hope things are going well. For the placement of the fence around the courts I would exempt this from needing to get a
DEP field permit as it's very minor in nature with no potential for adverse impact. It's location is also well landward of
existing substantial development. Generally, I will field permit fences only if they are along the seaward edge of
development, adjacent to dune and native vegetation. diYro , eplacngTaneTshedlw T anot sarn=iz an o

Please let me know if you have any questions or want to discuss further,
Thanks,
Jason

Subject: Pickleball court
Jason, back in January of 2016, you provided Holiday Out with a permit for a pickleball court (see attached) which we
had installed. We are now adding a fence around the court and believe that St Lucie county will require us to get a state
permit to add the fence.
Separately, we are applying with St Lucie county to replace an existing 10' by 14' shed, which was installed in 1990, with
a new 10' x14' shed.
Being that both of these items are inside the coastal construction setback, I expect that they will require a permit from
the state. What do I need to get a permit from your department.
Thank you ahead of time for your prompt reply.
