Unit 706 and 708 balcony excavation complete. The east, north, and south sides of the balcony have been excavated to expose the ends of two layers of approximately % Inch diameter welded wire fabric reinforcing. Supplemental reinforcing has been added at 24" o/c per plan with (2) #5 continuous edge bars. Railing end posts to be coated prior to repair mortar installation. 3. SIKA Armatek 110 Epo-Cem has been added to the existing and new reinforcing. Reinstall a second coat or add scrub coat of repair mortar prior to pouring with repair mortar. 4. Add Vector XPT zinc anodes at 24" o.c. around perimeter of deck. Check for continuity and install per manufacture specifications. 5. OK to pour concrete per plan and specifications after anode installation. Consolidate plastic concrete at time of placement by mechanical means. 6. Repairs are needed to the deck topping prior to re -sloping deck. 7. Concrete column between units 606 and 608 shall be repaired per detail 4/S2.0. Photo #01 CC: Richard Rohde— North South Const. ' Units 500 & 502 balcony mid deck of the balcony needs to be excavated to expose the ends of two layers of approximately;''/<!nch diameter welded wire fabric reinforcing. (See Photograph 1). Repair of balcony nosing edge per detail #1-sheet S2.0: 2. Supplemental reinforcing has been added at 24" o/c per plan. 3. 51KA Armatek 110 Epo-Cem needs to be added to the existing and new reinforcing. Then a second coat Armatek 110 needs to be applied to the repair prior final pour. 4. Zinc anodes are in place at 2 feet o/c per plan. (8) anodes are to be in the repair. 2 anodes were loose and need to be reinstalled for proper connection. 5. OK to pour concrete per plan and specifications after anode installation. 6. Consolidate plastic concrete at time of placement by mechanical means, Units 702 & 704 balcony excavation complete. The northeast corner side edge of the balcony have been excavated to expose the ends of two layers of approximately #5 rebar reinforcing. Repair of balcony nosing edge per detail #3 sheet S2.0. (See Photograph 2). Placement of the forms can be installed for the edge: repair poured with NO Zinc anodes are in place a in'the repair.
